Impressions from the Marble Mountains ⛰

Day 37. The Marble Mountains are a cluster of five marble and limestone hills that can be easily reached from Hoi An. The mountains are named after the five elements: Kim (metal), Thuy (water), Moc (wood), Hoa (fire) and Tho (earth).

All of the mountains have cave entrances with numerous tunnels, and it’s possible to climb to the summit of Mt. Thuy. Several Buddhist sanctuaries can also be found within the mountains, making this a famous tourist destination. Facts cited from Wikipedia.

I wouldn’t say it’s the most stunning place I’ve ever visited but it’s well worth a day trip if you’re around Hoi An. Here are some impressions from the area.
